Are you in tears now? Sniff….sniff….me too.

These were the FIRST people we met when we moved to Kansas City. Literally hours after driving to a city where we knew no one, we met this dad. He asked “How can we help you?”. He then rallied a group of guys who showed up at our door, pizza in hand, to carry couches down the stairs and heave a million-pound gun safe from the clutches of a POD. We shared pizza together on the kitchen floor with paper plates and I cried that night knowing God sends people to support each other no matter where you live. Pretty special sort of family to run into right?! Well they story gets better….

Grant and Hannah had 3 little boys already in their arms when they heard about a baby who would be born soon and needed a family. They raised their hands and opened their hearts quickly and TEN DAYS LATER they held they added another sweet baby to their arms! There is so much love, diapers, kindness, loudness, and joy in this home. It is undeniable that this little boy is loved well! I will forever be honored that the Malone family welcomed me in to capture such a sacred day. They plan to watch their film each year on Adoption Day! What a treasure for baby Russell to have his parents (and grandparents) love and voices bottled up forever!
